Position Overview:
A TAC technician is responsible for efficient test and acceptance of video endpoints and infrastructure on or off the Glowpoint network known as Cloud Services.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with On-Boarding of new customer video equipment: requirements gathering, technical information / connection method, updating CRM.
- Provisioning of equipment, such as router, switches, Brix’s and other hardware equipment.
- CRM Database integrity.
- Maintain process documentation.
- Manage network circuit ordering for new installations, moves, changes and disconnections.
- Serve as support to Project Manager and sales team throughout the installation process including transition from pre-sale to post-sale activity.
- Ensure Billing upon installation of service is performed.
- Ensure on-time performance to all deliverables.
- Assisting product management and engineering in new product development.
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational skills. Project management skills a plus.
- Able to effectively handle escalations and time critical issues.
- Knowledge and functions of RMX, MGC, VBP, CMA and TMS infrastructure devices.
- Knowledge of video framing and general troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Immersive telepresence systems and standalone video endpoints.
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
- Basic knowledge T1, DSL, Ethernet, IP Networks a plus.
- Flexibility of Shift Schedule.
- Bachelors Degree preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service/ implementation role.
- Strong written and verbal communications required.

- NOC Level 1 Support Technician

Position Overview:
A Level 1 Support Technician will perform basic trouble shooting of all aspects of all video, data, transport, internet, ATM and Ethernet services. This position is shift-aligned which will include night, weekend and off-shift (non 8-5) work. During each shift the technician will ultimately be responsible for all level 1 trouble resolution. Change is a constant in this environment and candidates must be willing to adapt to changing requirements and expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Open and closing trouble tickets
- Ability to quickly isolate faults within the network and perform basic trouble shooting
- Answer customer trouble calls and communicate status
- Prompt escalation of issues to Level 2 & Level 3
- All other related duties
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, college degree preferred
- 1-3 years in a Support Center Role
- Knowledge of DSL, ATM, PSTN, Ethernet and IP Networks
- Knowledge of VoIP and soft client trouble shooting

Position Overview:
This position is responsible for video conferencing reservations support and will interface directly with customers via phone and email.
Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduling for video reservations within database
- Work order creation for video site certification and video resource scheduling
- Video reservation conflict management
- General customer service
- Answer phones and emails
- Schedule multipoint video and audio conferences
- Data entry into department database
- Attend department meetings and trainings as needed
- All other related duties
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, college degree preferred
- 1-2 years customer service experience
- Professional phone skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Multitasking
- Excellent follow-up skills
- Experience with video conferencing is desired
- Experience with audio conference reservations is a plus

- Sr. Software Engineer

Position Overview:
The Sr. Software Engineer is primarily responsible for developing Glowpoint’s video cloud applications. Must have strong experience with SOA in a .NET framework, and must also have good working knowledge of SIP protocol.
Responsibilities:
- Senior .NET Architect/Developer with hands-on experience working on implementation of a SOA-based system that includes best of breed components for ESB, Service Registry, Rules Engine and Workflow.
- Ability to develop detailed service specifications including: WSDL, XML schemas, web service policy and web service security.
- Hands-on ability provisioning and integrating services using Enterprise Service Bus.
- Ability to leverage ESB for service composition, mediation and routing.
- Ability to collaborate with other technical architects and business leads to understand functional requirements and the big picture and develop effective, flexible solutions.
- Architecture modeling skills including UML, Visio, etc.
- Experience with SIP protocol for VoIP and video.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4-year college degree
- Minimum of 5 years experience with focus on developing Software-as-a-Service applications (SaaS)
